My First Post on "Sunday Favorites"

With Winter weather almost over and and every one's attention turning to Srping, I can't help but think of Resurrection Sunday. This poem by my husband, sums up what it is all about.

He included this poem in a message on Sunday. This is one of my favorite things he has ever written. What a wonderful Savior we have. I am so thankful he died and paid my sin debt that I couldn't pay and that He arose again!

THREE CROSSES

Nearly two thousand years ago three men died on a cross.

One died railing in his wretchedness.
One died repenting of his wretchedness.
One died redeeming the wretched.

One died full of sin.
One died free from sin.
One died for all sin.

One died slandering the Savior.
One died seeking the Savior.
One died The Savior of sinners.

One died profaning and cursing the provision of God
One died praying and claiming the promise of God
One died pardoning and cleansing the progeny of God.

One died in transgression and enmity against God.
One died transformed and enlightened by the Grace of God.

One died and transcended to intercede at the right hand of God.

One died and perished.
One died and went to paradise.
One died to prepare a place.

One died forever forgotten.
One died forever forgiven.
One died forever forgiving.

Three men died on a cross.
One of them should have been me, but
One was my Substitute, my Savior, and the Son of God.
