Introduction to the W.O.W. Factor

Have you heard the term "putting the 'wow' factor" into something? Maybe you have gone into a beautifully decorated house or building and stood there with your mouth open and said "wow"! Or maybe it is some other event or circumstance that has "wowed" you. Have you ever thought about the fact that you could be the "wow" in the "wow" factor?

For years in studying the women in the Bible, I have tried to look at them from the aspect of whether they were a wise or a foolish woman. Proverbs 14:1 says, "Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands". According to this verse, it is simple to determine whether or not a woman is wise or foolish. It is whether or not she "buildeth" her house (not literally of course) or if she "plucketh" it down with her hands.

We can not only determine this concerning women in the Bible, but also women that we know and see in our everyday lives, including ourselves.

The key is that as Christian women, wives and mothers, we apply the principals that the wise women of the Bible applied to build their homes. If we do this then we too will be a wise woman or a W.O.W. (Woman of Wisdom)!

It is my desire to teach this study in the Ladies Sunday School Class (Tabernacle Ladies' Class or T.L.C.). Also at the bi-monthly ladies' fellowship at our church (Sisters In Service or S.I.S.), the plans are to have a segment on a W.O.W. woman. Also, I want to periodically, as the Lord allows, post on this blog about these wise women. The posts will just be titled W.O.W. or maybe "Another W.O.W."

It is exciting! I thank the Lord for the opportunity to share what He has given me concerning this. I would certainly hope that I can always say concerning these thoughts, that they are "from" the LORD and not "from" Gail. I hope and pray that they will be a blessing to someone.
