Crock Pot Chicken-n-Dressing

The following is a recipe which I have done a couple of times. It is a very good recipe for Sundays or when you have a big family or a crowd to feed. Of course, crock pot cooking is always nice. I am trying to get my "Meals for a Month" all organized and on my desktop. So, I thought I might as well share some of them. This could also go under "Family Favorites" as well.

I am doing this for dinner tonight. Tonight is "most of the family over" night, so hopefully it will feed everyone.

Crock Pot Chicken - n - Dressing

1 baking hen - cooked and pulled apart,
or use bonesless chicken or,
even better, use already
cooked, Walmart chicken!!!
(You know, that "Semi-homemade" way of cooking! There's nothing wrong with that!)
1 large skillet cornbread - crumbled (I think you have to make this, or you might could buy it, I don't know. I'm planning on making my own.)
1 med. onion chopped
3 ribs celery chopped
2 hard boiled eggs
2 Tbs. sage 1 stick of butter or margarine
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup

In crock pot, layer 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup.

Mix all ingredients except hen and layer half of mixture over soup.

Add layer of half of chicken, the other half of dressing mixture - other half of hen and remaining soup

Cook on low for 3 hrs.

Very tasty and great for Sundays!
